They say that you cannot judge a book by its cover. But when it comes to the title of a book, the importance of getting it right cannot be overstated. Of course, the title is what often either hooks a potential reader or doesn't. Moreover, the title an author chooses sets the scene or otherwise manages the expectations of the reader prior to and while they are reading the book. And when I came across Sharon Klingler's Intuition and Beyond, her title choice clearly won me over. To be sure, I bought it, read it and enjoyed it. But whether what Intuition and Beyond delivers is what you thought you were going to get could be up for debate.
