Before I chose to focus my professional pursuits exclusively on my intuitive practice, I had a career as a management consultant not only running my own company but advising major international companies.
Among other responsibilities, I interviewed candidates and hired staff. And when I was just starting out myself in this capacity, my boss gave me some very sound advice. He said that I should never be fooled by someone claiming to have, for example, ten years of experience. The secret, as he pointed out, was to discover whether that meant ten progressive years of learning or simply that first year repeated ten times over.
