It comes as no surprise that what we eat can affect how long we live. For years we've been told to increase fruit and veg in our diets and to avoid processed foods and sugar. Exercise too is now accepted as crucial to a long and healthy life. But recently researchers at the UK's University College London discovered that having a sense of meaning and purpose in life could literally add years to your life.
